Since 2009, our flagship blend – Rush Espresso – has won 14 medals in both local and international competitions. These include 5 gold medals, 2 silver and 7 bronze.
Where do the beans come from?
5 Gold Medals! New Zealand’s most awarded coffee. Our Rush Espresso blend is made up from Nicaraguan, Sumatran, Ethiopian, Colombian, Tanzanian and Indian beans. Carefully crafted to maintain a full rich flavour throughout the brew. This makes an exceptional espresso coffee both with and without milk. It also makes an excellent plunger cup, being full in flavour with both nutty and chocolate characteristics. We find it simply delicious!
A complex, balanced profile with fruity cocoa flavours, a bright toffee body and a clean mouthfeel. Outstanding!

Awarded two silver medals within New Zealand and Australia, Organic Rush is a complex, stronger blend without the bitterness associated with some darker roasted coffees. Using Fairtrade organic beans, you can enjoy this blend with a clean conscience. A delicious blend of African and Oceanic beans, you will love the fruity and floral notes. Suitable for all preparations: plunger, filter, stovetop espresso and espresso machine. Delicious!
Zingaro
Zingaro
Bronze Medal winner at the New Zealand Coffee Awards, Zingaro is excellent for the plunger. Zingaro is a medium coffee, with light and darker roasted beans that give a clean fresh start to the cup, complex full flavours, filling the mouth with a long sweetish aftertaste. Primarily blended for the plunger, this coffee also makes an excellent filter coffee. Smooth thick and slightly spicy Zingaro is a refreshing, “wicked” blend.

A strong flavoured coffee decaffeinated using the Swiss Water® Process, a 100% chemical free decaffeination process that delivers coffee that is 99.9% caffeine free while protecting the unique origin characteristics and flavour. Most other processes use chemical solvents like Methylene Chloride or Ethyl Acetate to decaffeinate coffee beans. Who would have thought that decaf could taste this good!
